IT services provider opens two new offices in one month

01 - 12 - 2010

On 1 December, IT services provider, Lightsout Computer Services opened a new office in Orpington, Kent just one month after opening a new office in Stirling, Scotland. The rapidly expanding company, which has increased its employee count from 14 to 38 in just two years, has made the move to be closer to 20 of its IT services customers. Over the past year, Lightsout has really made a name for itself, winning the NJUG (National Joint Utility Group) Quality Award and Bright Sparc Awards at Cranfield University and featuring in the final shortlist of the National Business Awards and the Annual HSC (Highways Authorities and Utilities Committee) Awards.

The office opened just a month after the company set up a centre in Stirling to support 24 new sites across Scotland.

“We are delighted to open a new office in Kent. Expanding into new regions across the UK meets some major objectives in our business plan. Up until opening the local office, we were remotely delivering support services to clients in the region. The new office helps to increase our capacity across the southern counties,” explained Tim Usher, director of Lightsout Computer Services.

The firm’s impressive expansion rate has been fuelled by its constant service development to increase its portfolio and exceed client expectations. The outsourcing that Lightsout provides gives companies access to state-of-the-art technology, reliability and expertise that is normally out of the reach of SMEs and large organisations which have to reduce their cost burden.
